FT). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Town Council did, on the 16th day of January, 1990, adopt Marana Town <br />Ordinance No. 90.01, which adopted the Tangerine Hills Specific Plan, and has amended the <br />Tangerine Hills Specific Plan from time to time; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Gerald and Jay Woeh1ck own approximately 8.3 acres of property (tax parcel <br />numbers 216-02-006A and 216-02-006B, within a portion of the north one-half of section 1, <br />township 12 south, range 12 east (hereinafter the "Property"), more particularly described in Exhibits <br />A and B attached hereto and incorporated herein, subject to the Tangerine Hills Specific Plan; and <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Gerald and Jay Woehlck have applied to the Town to remove the Property from <br />the Specific Plan and have it rezoned R-144 so they can construct thereon two single family <br />dwellings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Marana Planning Commission held a public hearing on June 28, 2000, and <br />voted 7-0 to recommend that the Town Council approve the Specific Plan amendment and re-zone <br />the Property to R-144; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Town Council held a public hearing on August 15,2000, to obtain input <br />from the Applicant, Town staff, and the public on the amendment to the Tangerine Hills Specific <br />Plan and the rezoning ofthe Property, and finds that granting them is in the best interest ofthe Town <br />of Marana and its residents. <br /> <br />'" <br />i <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of 1 <br />Marana, Arizona, as follows: :3 <br />'-0 <br />-~ <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The Tangerine Hills Specific Plan is hereby amended by deleting the Property <br />therefrom, and the Property is hereby rezoned to R-144 (single family residential, <br />minimum lot size 144,000 sq. ft.). <br /> <br />'9 <br /> <br />.r-. <br />,/5 <br /> <br />.' <br />~ <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />All ordinances, resolutions, or motions and parts of ordinances, resolutions, or <br />motions of the council in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby <br />repealed, effective as of the effective date of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />~3 <br /> <br />,,,,,- <br /> <br />Marana, Arizona Ordinance 2000.15 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />J <br />
