per State of krizona exemptions and also include reworded Willcox
exemption such as the bulk feed, seeds, fertilizers, insecticides,
chemicals for the growing and harvesting of coEmerical agricultural
products are exempt also to sign agreement with State of Arizona for
collection of tax.

by Mayor Don Frew at 7:00 P.M.

Dr. George Learning, Planning and Zoning Administrator, presented
proposal of land East of 1-10 amd Tangerine and North to Moore Road
to be annexed to the Town of Marana. Two parcels of land are involved.
Terry Klipp representing Hayt Property and Sterling Precision Corpora-
tion represented by Walter Goering of Silver Bell Realty Company are
developing an industrial park with a 7,000 ft air strip already approved
by FAA. Complete legal descriptions will be in Town Hall March 22, 1979.
The industrial park will provide employment for Marana, which Council
agrees is needed.
Discussion followed by citizens present.
Presentation by Howard D. Rodgers. Pima County submitted map show-
ing proposed road changes. Mr. Rodgers asked citizens to submit their
input on proposed changes. Maps will be available at Town Hall.
Mr. Rodgers is complying data on Fire Protection.
Umyor Don Frew discussed progress of river.
Meeting March 27:with Soil Conservation State Engineer.
Special Council Meeting scheduled March 26, 1979 for annexation proposals.

Mr. Ruff has informed the Council that he may have ~o

Council that four people should represent the Town of
Marana, but only Mrs. Price and Tom Clark are on the
Public Steering Committee for the Corps of Engineers -
Clothing allotment for Officers - $200.00 per year to
be paid monthly at $16.66 per month.
(b) Finance - Eddie Honea- Discussion of taxes to be
levied in Marana - Tabled until March meeting with
