The motion was made by Tom Jones, seconded by Dan Grc, seclose~ and unanimously carried that the Town Council authorize Mayor Bill Schisler to sign the Intergovernmental Agreement ~ith Depaptment of Public Safety for u~e of intoxilyzer. Ray Teran, Town Manager, submitted a list of homes in the village that need improvements. Vick Charnis, Building Inspector, submitted estimates from Adams Tree Service, Inc. and Larry's Tree Service for tree topping and removal of trees at Yoem Pueblo. Ora Ham stated she thinks the tree removal is a good project. Ora Harn spoke to Supervisor David Yetman regarding the Yoem Pueblo project. Pima County Community Services will supply $ 105,000.00 to the Yoem Pueblo project. The motion was made by Tom Clark, seconded by Ora Harn, and unanimously carried that the Town Council proceed with the project of topping of trees, subject to availability of funds from Marana's Community Development Block Grant fund. Ray Teran, Town Manager, stated he had met with Robert White, Trimble Engineering, Inc. and Larry Robertson, Attorney for Robert White. Department of Water Resources will not give a 100 year water supply certificate for the 402 multi family dwellings. Ray Coleman, Town Engineer, stated a full drainage study is needed and also a complete Hydrc, logy Study. Ray Teran stated the final plat for the White Farms Sub-Division will not be recorded by Decernber 1, 1985. This was ar, informatior, item only. The motion was made by Tom Jones, seconded by Tom Clark, and unanimously carried that the '[own Council authorize Mayor Bill Schisler to sign Contract 4-07-S~-L0910 relating to crossings of the Tucson Aqueduct, pending legal opinion from Town Attorney. The motion was made by Tom Jones, seconded by Tom Clark, and unanimously carried that the Town Council dis-band the positions of Liaison Officers and transfer the duties of the Liaison Officers to the Town Manager. Mayor Bill Schisler stated Ray Honea and Rita Ramey had submitted their resignation from the Planning Commission. The motion was made by Tom Jones, seconded by Tom Clark, and unanimously carried that the Town Council accept the resignation of Rita Ramey and Ray Honea from the Planning Commission. Mayor Bill Schisler stated he had submitted the names of Diane Collins, Richard Smith, Hal Harrigan, and Ronald Key to the Planning Commission members for review. The motion was made by Tom Clark, seconded by Tom Jones, and unanimously carried that the Town Council appoint Hal Harrigan to the Planning Commission. Pima County requested the State Land Department to make this land available for sale. ]'he State of Arizona feels the County plans to purchase the land for future expansion of the current landfill. Also spoke on the excessive speeds by the truckers. Mayor Bill Schisler will contact Pima County Waste-Water Management regarding application of sludge in Pima County. Bob McCrea stated he had gone to the Recorder~s Office, Assessor's Office~ and Department of Transportation regarding Berry Acres I and II, and Chapel Drive. Berry Acres I and II are dedicated and Chapel Drive is not dedicated. Tom Jones suggested ~ore research be done on the above mentioned streets. Mayor Bill Schisler stated he had received a copy of the lawsuit October 1, 1985. Copies will be made available to Council Members. Tom Clark stated the lawsuit had to be filed before the statue of limitations expires. Job Descriptions - Town Employees: The consensus of the Council was to direct department heads to prepare job descriptions for current positions in each department. The proper Liaison Officer for each department will give final approval to the job descriptions. Job descriptions are to be completed by April 2, 1985. Appointment - Planning and Zoning Administrator's Assistant: GEne Anderson stated that an assistant is needed for administrative work and he would continue to work with planning for the Town. Marana Founder's Day: Mayor Bill Schisler stated that 1984 was the last year for the Lion's Club to conduct Founder's Day.
