A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA,
APPROVING THE PRELIMENARY FLAT MAP SUBMITTED BY EL DORADO HOLDINGS
ON BEHALF OF SHAMROCK FARMS FOR THE CORTARO RANCH PROJECT LOCATED
AT CORTARO FARMS ROAD AND 1-10 FREEWAY.
WI-IEREAS, Shamrock Farms is the owner of the property located at the northeast comer
of Cottaro Farms Road and I-10 Freeway, and specifically a portion of the N ~ of Section 26 T12S
R12E, and has applied to the Town of Marana through its applicant, Norman McClelland C/O E1
Dorado Holdings, for approval ora preliminary plat map for the Cortaro Ranch Project; and
WHEREAS, the Marana Planning Commission considered the request to approve the
preliminary plat map on July 31, 1996, and voted 5-0 to recommend that the Town Council approve
the preliminary plat; and
WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council heard from the representative of the owner, staff, and
members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting held August 27, 1996 and has
determined that the preliminary plat map submitted by El Dorado Holdings on behalf of Shamrock
Farms for the preliminary plat map for the Cortaro Ranch Project should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana
that the preliminary plat map for the Cortaro Ranch Project, located at the northeast comer of
Cortaro Farms Road and 1-10 Freeway, is approved subject to the following conditions:
The developer shall comply with the conditions outlined in Ordinance No. 95.30 approving
the rezone of the property.
The developer shall submit a development plan for all non-residential lots which shall be
presented to and approved by the Marana Planning Commission and the Marana Town
Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, this
27th day of August, 1996.
