MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2005-12
RELATING TO SUBDIVISIONS; APPROVING A PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR
SAGUARO RANCH SOUTH AMENDED LOTS 1-31.
WHEREAS, Saguaro Ranch Development Corporation, the owner of Saguaro Ranch
South Amended Lots 1-31, has applied for approval of a Preliminary Plat for 31 single-family
custom homes on 171.59 acres, including lots 1 through 31, Parcel A and Common Areas "A"
(Private Streets), "B" (Natural Open Space), and "C" (Recreational), and is generally located 1/2
mile north of Moore Road and east of Thornydale Road, in a portion of Sections 20 & 29,
Township 11 South, Range 13 East; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council approved the Saguaro Ranch Final Plat on September 2,
2003, consisting of Lots 9-52, Blocks 1 through 4 and Common Areas "A" and "B"; and
WHEREAS, the Saguaro Ranch South Amended Lots 1-31 Preliminary Plat is a partial
resubdivision of the original Saguaro Ranch Final Plat, Lots 9-31 and Block 4; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council, at their regular meeting on February 1, 2005 has
determined that the Saguaro Ranch South Amended Lots 1-31 Preliminary Plat should be
approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona, that Saguaro Ranch South Amended Lots 1-31 Preliminary Plat, a 31-10t
custom home subdivision within the Saguaro Ranch Development and generally located 1/2 mile
north of Moore Road and east of Thornydale Road, in a portion of Sections 20 & 29, Township
11 South, Range 13 East is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona,
this 1st day of February 2005.
