A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA,
ARIZONA, APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT MAP SUBMITrED BY COSCAN
ARIZONA, INC. ON BEHALF OF RANCH HOLDINGS FOR A 165 SINGLE FAMILY
DETACHED HOME SUBDIVISION FOR PARCEL 3 OF THE CONTINENTAL RANCH
SPECIFIC PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Town of Marana has previously approved the specific plan for the area
known as Continental Ranch, located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Marana,
Arizona; and
WHEREAS, Ranch Holdings is the owner of the property known as Parcel 3 of the
Continental Ranch Specific Plan, located in the NE 1/4 of Section 34 T12S R12E, and has
applied to the Town of Marana through its applicant, Coscan Arizona, Inc. for approval of a
preliminary plat for a 165 single family detached home subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the Marana Planning Commission considered the request to approve the
preliminary plat map on 1une 26, 1996, and voted 6-1 to recommend that the Town Council
approve the preliminary plat; and
WIq~REAS, the Mar, ma Town Council heard from the representative of the owner, staff,
and members of the public at the regular Town Council meetings held August 6, 1996 and
August 27, 1996, and has determined that the preliminary plat map submitted by Coscan
Arizona, Inc. on behalf of Ranch Holdings for a 165 single family detached home subdivision
should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana that the preliminary plat map for a 165 single family detached home subdivision for
Parcel 3 of the Continental Ranch Specific Plan, located in the NE 1/4 of Section 34 TI2S
R12E, is approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, this
