A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA,
APPROVING THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR HERITAGE HIGHLAND GOLF
MAINTENANCE YARD AND CART STORAGE AREA PRESENTED BY U.S. HOME
CORPORATION AND LOCATED WITHIN THE TORTOLITA MOUNTAIN PROPERTIES
SPECIFIC PLAN.
WHEREAS, U.S. Home Corporation is the owner of approximately 1.28 acres of property
located within the Tortolita Mountain Properties Specific Plan, specifically at W ½ of Section 25,
T11S, R12E on Desert Flora Lane and more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein, and has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of the development plan
for a golf maintenance yard and cart storage area; and
WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council heard from the representative of the owner, staff, and
members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting held July 16, 1996 and has determined
that the development plan submitted by U.S. Home Corporation for a golf maintenance yard and cart
storage area should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona that the development plan for a submitted by U. S. Home Corporation located
within the Tortolita Mountain Properties Specific Plan, specifically at W ½ of Section 25, T1 IS,
RI2E on Desert Flora Lane and more particularly described in Exhibit A is approved subject to the
following conditions:
The developer must meet the required parking standards per the Tortolita Mountain
Properties Specific Plan, including providing adequate parking for the physically challenged.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, this
16th day of July, 1996.
