A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN TO ACCEPT ASSURANCE AGREEMENTS FOR THE
COMPLETION OF SUBDMSION Rv[PROVEMENTS FROM DEL WEBB'S COVENTRY
HOMES CONSTRUCTION OF TUCSON CO. AND FIRST AMERICAN TITLE INSURANCE
COMPANY FOR CONTINENT~ RANCH PARCEL 26, LOTS 1 THROUGH 37, AND PARCEL
28, LOTS NO. 1 THROUGH 162 AND COMMON AREA A.
WHEREAS, the Town of Marana has previously approved the specific plan for the area
known as Continental Ranch, located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Marana,
Arizona; and
WHEREAS, Del Webb's Coventry Homes Construction of Tucson Co. is the owner of the
properties known as Parcel 26 and Parcel 28, Continental Ranch, located in Sections 27 and 34,
T12S R12E, within the Continental Ranch Specific Plan, and has applied to the Town of Marana for
approval of separate Assurance Agreements for Completion of Subdivision Improvements (Third-
Party Trust) for those properties; and
WHEREAS, acceptance of these Assurance Agreements for Completion of Subdivision
Improvements (Third-Party Trust) will guarantee completion of the public improvements for
Continental Ranch Parcel 26, lots [ through 37; and Parcel 28, Lots No. 1 Through 162, and
Common Area A, and such acceptance is in the best interests of the citizens of the Town of Marana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona that the Mayor is authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, the Assurance
Agreements for Completion of Subdivision Improvements (Third-Party Trust) for Continental Ranch
Parcel 26, lots 1 through 37; and Parcel 28, Lots No. 1 Through 162, and Common Area A,
presented by Del Webb's Coventry Homes Construction of Tucson Co. and First American Title
Insurance Company.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, this
16th day of July, 1996.
