A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA,
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN TO ACCEPT ASSURANCE AGREEMENTS FOR THE
COMPLETION OF SUBDMSION IMPROVEMENTS FROM RICHMOND AMERICAN
HOMES, INC. FOKCONTINENTALRANCHPAKCEL 51, LOTS NO. 1 THROUGH 148, AND
COMMON AREA A.
WHIEREAS, the Town of Marana has previously approved the specific plan for the area
known as Continental Ranch, located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Marana,
Arizona; and
WHEREAS, Richmond American Homes, Inc. is the owner of the property known as Parcel
51, Continental Ranch, located in Sections 27 and 34, T12S R12E, within the Continental Ranch
Specific Plan, and has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of an Assurance Agreement for
Completion of Subdivision Improvements (Third-Party Trust); and
WHEREAS, acceptance of the Assurance Agreement for Completion of Subdivision
Improvements (Third-Party Trust) will guarantee completion of the public improvements for
Continental Ranch Parcel 51, Lots No. 1 Through 148, and Common Area A and such acceptance
is in the best interests of the citizens of the Town of Marana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona that the Mayor is authorized to execute, on behalf of the Town, the Assurance
Agreement for Completion of Subdivision Improvements (Third-Party Trust) for Continental Ranch
Parcel 51, Lots No. I Through 148, and Common Area A, from Richmond American Homes, Inc.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona; this
18th day of June, 1996.
