A RESOLUTION OF TIlE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, Ai:~IZONA
ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR ~ TOWN OF MARANA FOR FISCAL YEAR 1996-97.
WHEREAS, on June 4, 1996, in accordance with the provisions ofA.R.S. § 42-301 et. seq.,
the Marana Town Council did make an estimate of the different amounts required to meet the public
expenditures/expenses for the 96-97 fiscal year and did estimate the revenues to be received fi.om
sources other than direct taxation; and
WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council held a public meeting on June 18, 1996 following
due public notice where taxpayers that appeared were heard in favor of or against any of the
proposed expenditures/expenses of tax levies; and
WHEREAS, the sums to be raised by taxation as specified in the budget attached hereto as
Exhibit A, as amended, do not, in the aggregate amount, exceed the expenditure limitation set by
the Council on June 4, 1996.
NOW THFREFORE BE 1T RESOLVED, that the tentative budget setting forth the estimates
of revenues and expenditures/expenses, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this
reference, as increased, decreased or changed by the Town Council are hereby adopted as the final
budget for the Town of Marana for the fiscal year 96-97.
PASSED A_ND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, this
