HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 93.02 Adopting changes to the town code relating to business regulations ORDINANCE NO. 93.02 AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA, ADOPTING AN AMEND- MENT TO THE TOWN CODE ENTITLED "BUSINESS REGULATIONS" BY REFER- ENCE AND FIXING THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF EXISTING ORDINANCES; AND PROVIDING SEVERABILITY BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana: ~ section I: That certain document known as "Business Regula- tions", three-copies of which are on file in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Marana, Arizona, which document was made a public record by Resolution No. 93-02 of the Town of Marana, Arizona, is hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this ordinance. Section II: Any person found ~ilty of violating any provi- sion of this ordinance shall be gUllty of Class III Misdemeanor. Each day that a violation continues shall be a separate offense punishable as herein above described. Section III: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict with the provisions of this ordinance or any part of the document adopted herein by reference are hereby repealed. section IV: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance or any part of the document adopted by reference is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent juris- diction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions thereof. section V: This ordinance shall become operative and in force as of April 1, 1993. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, this 2nd day of February, 1993. ATTEST:
