MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2005-103
RELATING TO SUBDIVISIONS; APPROVING A PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR
PAYSON FARMS.
WHEREAS, D.L.N. Consulting representing the Owner has applied for approval of a
preliminary plat for a 367-10t single-family home subdivision on 106.04 acres, including common
areas "A," "B," and "C" and is generally located south of Barnett Road and east of Sanders Road
within a portion of Section 28, Township 11 South and Range 11 East; and
WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council considered the application at their regular meeting
of August 2, 2005 and has determined that the preliminary plat should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA, that Payson Farms preliminary plat, a 367-10t single family
home subdivision generally located south of Barnett Road and east of Sanders Road within a
portion of Section 28, Township 11 South and Range 11 East is hereby approved with the
recommended conditions as follows:
1. The applicant shall construct a temporary secondary access via Barnett Road or Sanders
Road prior to the issuance of the twenty-fifth residential building permit if Tangerine
Farms Loop Road is not complete.
2. The required 190-foot right-of-way for Sanders Road between Barnett Road and Moore
will be acquired through a separate instrument and conveyed to the Town of Marana
prior to approval of the final plat, as accepted by the Town Engineer and Planning
Director.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Maran a, Arizona,
this 2nd day of August, 2005.
