HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2005-104 preliminary plat for the villas at continental ranch MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2005-104 RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING A PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR THE VILLAS AT CONTINENTAL RANCH. WHEREAS, Sierra Pacific Company LLC, the owner of The Villas at Continental Ranch, has applied for approval of a preliminary plat for 50 single-family residential subdivision on 17.7 acres including lots 1 through 50 and Common Area "A-l"-"A-4" "B-l"-"B-5" and "C-l" and , , , , is generally located on the northwest comer of Silverbell Road and CoacWine Boulevard, within a portion of Sections 21 & 28, Township 12 South, and Range 12 East; and WHEREAS, the Town of Marana approved and adopted the specific plan for the area known as Continental Ranch on AprilS, 1988 (Ordinance 88.09), located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Maran a, Arizona; and WHEREAS, this plat is to be located within a portion of Parcel 15 of the Continental Ranch Specific Plan (Tax Parcel Code 226-22-005R); and WHEREAS, the Town Council, at their regular meeting on August 2, 2005, has determined that The Villas at Continental Ranch preliminary plat should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, that The Villas at Continental Ranch preliminary plat, a 50-lot single-family residential subdivision within the Continental Ranch Specific Plan and generally located on the northwest comer of Silverbell Road and CoacWine Boulevard, within a portion of Sections 21 & 28, Township 12 South, and Range 12 East is hereby approved.
