AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA,
ESTABLISHING ZONING ON ANNEXED PROPERTY. (WOLFSWINKEL NO. 1A
THROUGH 4)
WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council adopted Ordinances Number
86.07, 87.05, 88.27 and 89.06 annexing into the Town of Marana
certain real property including that real property more particu-
larly described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 9-471 (D), in each case
the annexation of the real property described above became effec-
tive 30 days after adoption of the ordinance; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 9-471 (L) the Town is
required to adopt a zoning classification which permits densities
and uses no greater than those permitted by Pima County immedi-
ately prior to the annexation of the foregoing property; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Town Coun-
cil of the Town of Marana, Arizona as follows that the property
described as
A Portion of Township 11 South, Range 11 East, Gila & Salt River
Base Meridian, Pima County Arizona, described as follows:
All of Section 6 (Lots 1, 2, 3, & 4) lying South of the
Pima-Pinal County line and
All of that portion of the North Half of Section 7 lying
East of the Westerly right of way line of the Casa Grande-
Tucson Interstate Highway and
All of that portion of Section 8 lying East of the Easterly
right of way line of the Southern Pacific Rail Road Line,
excluding the Northeast Quarter and the Northeast Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter and
All of those portions of Sections 16, 17, and 21 lying East
right of way line of the Southern Pacific Rail Road Line
containing 1519 acres be given the zoning designation of "Zone E"
in accordance with the Town Development Code which incorporates
the Town Zoning Ordinance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of
Marana, this 2nd day of June, 1992.
