AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA,
ARIZONA ESTABLISHING ZONING ON ANNEXED PROPERTY
WHEREAS, on August 2, 1988 the Marana Town Council adopted
Ordinance No. 88.20 annexing into the Town of Marana certain real
property, including that real property more particularly described
below, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 9-471 (D), the annexation
of the real property described above became effective on September
1, 1988 and
WHEREAS, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 9-471 (L) the Town is
required to adopt a zoning classification which permits densities
and uses no greater than those permitted by Pima County immediately
prior to the annexation of the foregoing property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Town Council
of the Town of Marana, Arizona as follows that the property described
as the W 1/2 of the N.W. 1/4 of Section 34, T 12 S, R 12 E of the
Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Pima County Arizona be given
the zoning designation of "Zone C" in accordance with the To~
Development Code which incorporates the Town Zoning Ordinance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Marana,
Arizona this 5th day of June, 1990.
