AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA,
ARIZONA ESTABLISHING ZONING ON ANNEXED PROPERTY (WIDGER)
WHEREAS, on March 6, 1990 the Marana Town Council adopted
Ordinance No. 90.08 annexing into the Town of Marana certain real
property, including that real property more particularly described
below, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 9-471 (D), the annexation
of the real property described above became effective on April 5, 1990
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 9-471 (L) the Town is
required to adopt a zoning classification which permits densities and
uses no greater than those permitted by Pima County immediately
prior to the annexation of the foregoing property. (R.H.)
"WHEREAS the Town has determined that the following zoning
classification to be granted to the following described property
permits densities and uses no greater than those permitted by Pima
County immediately prior to the annexation of said property."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Town Council
of the Town of Marana, Arizona as follows that the property described
as a part of Section 26, Township 11 South, Range 12 East, Gila nad
Salt River Base and Meridian, Pima County, Arizona described as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast Corner of the Southeast Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 26, Township
11 South, Range 12 East, Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Pima
County, Arizona, said Corner being N 00 deg 03 min 01 sec W 1313.66
ft from the Southeast Corner of said Section 26;
Thence S 89 deg 25 min 30 sec W along the South line of said Southeast
Quarter 662.36 ft to the Southwest Corner of said Southeast Quarter;
Thence N 00 deg 03 min 09 sec E along the West line of said Southeast
Quarter 658.40 ft to the Northwest Corner of said Southeast Quarter;
Thence N 89 deg 33 min 40 sec E along the North line of said Southeast
Quarter 662.37 ft to the Northeast Corner of said Southeast Quarter;
Thence S 00 deg 03 min 01 sec E along the East line of said Southeast
Quarter 656.83 ft to the Southeast Corner of said Southeast Quarter,
The Point of Beginning,
Containing 9.999 acres, be given the zoning designation of "Zone C"
in accordance with the Town Development Code which incorporates the
Town Zoning Ordinance.
