AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING INTO THE TOWN OF MARANA
WHEREAS the owners of at least one half of the assessed value
of the real and personal properties in the area described below and
more than one half of the real property owners therein have presented
a petition to the Town Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona request-
ing annexation to the Town of Marana; and
WHEREAS said area is contiguous to the Town limits of the Town of
Marana; and
WHEREAS the requirements of A.R.S. Section 9-471 et seq. have been
met;and
WHEREAS the Town Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona considers
it beneficial to the people of the Town of Marana and of the area to be
annexed to extend the limits of the Town by such annexation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona as follows:
All of those portions of Section 1, Township 12 South, Range 12 East;
Section 31, Township 11 South, Range 13 East; and Section 36, Township
11 South, Range 12 East, G&SRB&M, Pima County, Arizona being more
particularly described as follows to wit:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of said Section 36,
being THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE North 00~ 07' 03" East a distance of 2,652.75
one-quarter corner of said Section 36;
THENCE North 00~ 07' 05" East a distance of 2,652.80
Northwest corner of said Section 36;
THENCE South 89° 43' 06" East a distance of 2,629.73
quarter corner of said Section 36;
THENCE South 89% 43' 06" East a distance of 2,629.72 feet to the
Northeast corne~ of said Section 36;
THENCE South 00° 31' 35" East a distance of 324.69 feet; said point
being the Northwest corner of said Section 31;
THENCE South 00° 02' 09" West a distance of 30.00 feet to a point of
intersection with the Westerly prolongation of the South Right-of-Way
line of Moore Road as shown in Book 2 at Page 14 of Road Maps said
road being described thereon as Tortolita Road # 206;
THENCE North 89° 57' 14" East along said South Right-of-Way line
a distance of 1,285.16 feet to a point in the East line of Lot 1 of
said Section 31;
THENCE South 00° 05' 37" West a distance of 1,290.31 feet to the
Southeast corner of Lot 1;
THENCE South 89° 57' 28" West a distance of 1,283.86 feet to a point
in the East line of said Section 36;

said Section 36;

South one-quarter corner of said Section 36; said corner also being
the Northeast corner of Lot 3 of said Section 1;
THENCE South 00° 07' 03" West a distance of 660.00 feet to the East
one-quarter corner of said Lot 3;
THENCE North 89° 59' 31" West a distance of 657.76 feet to the interior
one-quarter corner of said Lot 3;
THENCE South 00° 07' 03" West a distance of 660.00 feet to the South
one-quarter corner of said Lot 3;
THENCE North 89° 59' 31".West a distance of 1,980.00 feet to the
Southwest corner of Lot 4 of said Section 1;
THENCE North 00° 07' 03" East along the West line of said Section 1,
a distance of 1,320.00 feet to the Southwest corner of said Section 36,
said point being THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING~ said parcel containing
748.0976 acres more or less.
Be annexed to the Town of Marana
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town
of Marana that the above annexed area be given the zoning designation
of Zone "C" in accordance with the Town Development Code which incorporates
the Town Zoning Ordinance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona
this 17th day of July, 1990.
