HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 87.19 Paddock Properties annexationORDINANCE NO. 87.19 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE TOWN OF MARANA WHEREAS the owners of at least one-half of the assessed value of the real and personal property in the area (described below) and more than one-half of the real property owners therein have presented a petition to the Town Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, requesting annexation to the Town of Marana; and WHEREAS said area is contiguous to the Town limits of the Town of Marana; and WHEREAS the requirements of A.R.S. Section 9-471 have been met; and WHEREAS the Town Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona considers it beneficial to the people of the Town of Marana and of the area to be annexed to extend the limits of the Town by such annexation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA as follows: That the land more particularly described as (map attached: That portion of Section 18, Township 11 South, Range 11 East, of the Gila and Salt River Baseline and Meridian, Pima County, Arizona, more particularly described as follows: The Northeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of said section. Except the South 1/2 of the South 1/2 of said Northeast 1/4, of the Southwest 1/4. Containing approximately 30.12 acres. And Further Excepting all percolating water, contained within, underlying, or which may be produced, except such water as may be used by the owners and inhabitants for domestic purposed of reserved in deed recorded in book 3I4 of deeds, page 445, records of Pima County, Arizona. Together with an Easement for ingress, egress, utilities, irrigation and drainage system as created in docket 5182, page 464, records of Pima County, Arizona. 1 8148 1574 Be annexed to the Town of Marana, Arizona.
