WHEREAS, the Town of Marana did enact that certain Ordinance 77.10 on the 6th day of September, 1977, and %~{EI~, the Town of ~{arana does now wish to amend said Or- dinance by adding an amendment to the Uniform Building Code, allowing the use of stabilized unburned adobe brick in con- Struction within the Town, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CON~WON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA THAT ORDINANCE 77.10, SECTION 02, UNIFORM BUILDING CODE, IS HEREBY AMENDED BY ADDING THE FOLLOWING REVISIONS TO CHA~ 24 GF SAID CODE: (~M~TER 24. If the sample absorbs more than 2 1/2 percen= moisture by weiqht, the materis/ shall be clasaAfied as natural (raw) adobe. Shrinkage Cracks. ~o re%its shall contain more than 3 shrinkage cracks, and no shrinkage crank shall exceed 3 inches in len9~h o= 1/8 inch in width. (e) Construction.
