A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MAKANA,
ARIZONA, APPROVING A FiNAL PLAT ON 24.88 ACP,-ES, LOCATED WITHIN THE
PIMA FARMS SPECIFIC PLAN AREA, CONSISTING OF A 69-LOT SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION. THIS PROPERTY LIES WITHiN SECTION 28, TOWNSHIP
12 SOUTH, RANGE 12 EAST, ON THE WEST SIDE OF CONTiNENTAL RESERVE LOOP
ROAD AND SOUTH OF PIMA FARMS ROAD.
WHEREAS, on May 30th, 1989 the Town of Marana adopted Ordinance 89.20 approving
the Pima Farms Specific Plan; and
WHEREAS, on February 15, 2000 the Town of Marana adopted Resolution 2000-19
approving the Final Block Plat on Continental Reserve; and
WHEREAS, Diamond Ventures, Inc. is the owner of approximately 24.88 acres within
the Continental Reserve boundary generally located in Section 28, Township 12 South, Range
12 East and has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of a Final Plat for 69 single-family
detached home lots on 24.88 acres, including lots 1 through 69 and common areas "A" through
"H"; and
WHEREAS, the Marana Planning and Zoning Commission considered this application at
the regular Planning and Zoning Commission meeting held April 24, 2001 and unanimously
voted to recommend approval of the Continental Reserve Block 10 Final Plat to the Town
Council; and
WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council has considered the Final Plat for Continental
Reserve Block 10 at the regular Town Council meeting held May 21, 2002 and has determined
that the Final Plat for Continental Reserve Block 10 should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Ar/zona, that the Final Plat for Continental Reserve Block 10, submitted by Diamond
Ventures, Inc. for an 69-1ot subdivision located within the boundary of Continental Reserve, ~vest
of Continental Reserve Loop Road and south of Pima Farms Road, in Section 28, Township 12
South, Range 12 East is hereby approved.
