HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2002-077 final plat for sonoran vistaMARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2002-77 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA, APPROVING A FINAL PLAT ON 17 ACRES, LOCATED W/THIN THE CONTINENTAL RANCH SPECIFIC PLAN AREA, CONSISTING OF A 66-LOT SINGLE- FAMILy DETACHED HOME SUBDMS/ON, WITHIN A PORTION OF SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 12 SOUTH, RANGE 12 EAST, ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDES OF COACHLINE BOULEVARD JUST EAST OF THE NORTHERN INTERSECTION WITH SILVER.BELL ROAD. WHEREAS, the Town of Marana approved and adopted the specific plan for the area known as Continental Ranch on April 5, 1988 (Ordinance 88.09), located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Marana, Arizona; and WHEREAS, Pulte Home Corporation, is the owner of approximately 17 acres within Parcels 47 and 69 of the Continental Ranch Specific Plan, generally located in a port/on of Section 17, Township 12 South, Range 12 East, and has authorized MMLA, Inc., to apply to the Town of Marana for approval ora final plat for 66 single-family detached home lots on 17 acres, including lots I through 66 and common areas "A" and "B", and more particularly described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference (Exhibit "A' ), and WHEREAS, the Marana Planning and Zoning Commission considered the Final Plat for Sonoran Vista . at the regular Planning and Zoning Commission meeting held May 29, 2001 and unanimously voted to recommend approval of the Sonoran Vista Final Plat to the Town Council; and WHEREAS, the Mamna Town Council has considered the Final Plat for Sonoran Vista at the regular Town Council meeting held June 18, 2002 and has determined that the Final Plat for . Sonoran Vista should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, that the Final Plat for Sonoran Vista, submitted by MMLA, Inc., for a 66-1ot subdivision located within the boundary of the Continental Ranch Specific Plan, on the north and south sides of Coachline Boulevard just east of the northern intersection with Silverbell Road, in a portion of Section 17, Township 12 South, Range 12 East, is hereby approved.
