A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA,
ARIZONA, APPROVING A FINAL PLAT ON 7.57 ACRES, LOCATED WITHIN THE
CONTINENTAL RANCH SPECIFIC PLAN AREA, CONSISTING OF A 37-LOT SINGLE-
FAMILY DETACHED HOME SUBDIVISION, WITHIN A PORTION OF SECTION 21,
TOWNSHIP 12 SOUTH, RANGE 12 EAST, ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF TWIN
PEAKS ROAD AND COACHLINE BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, the Town of Marana approved and adopted the specific plan for the area
known as Continental Ranch on April 5, 1988 (Ordinance 88.09), located within the corporate
boundaries of the Town of Marana, Arizona; and
WHEREAS, Pulte Home Corporation, is the owner of approXimately 7.57 acres within a
portion of Parcel 24 of the Continental Ranch Specific Plan, generally located in a portion of
Section 21, Township 12 South, Range 12 East, and has authorized MMLA, Inc., to apply to the
Town of Marana for approval of a preliminary plat for 37 single-famil de

WHEREAS, the Marana Planning and Zoning Commission considered the Final Plat for
Sonoran Moon at the regular Plamfing and Zoning Commission meeting held June 26, 2001 and
unanimously voted to recommend approval of the Sonoran Moon Final Plat to the Town Council;
and,
WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council has considered the Final Plat for Sonoran Moon
at the regular Town Council meeting held July 16, 2002 and has determined that the Final Plat
for Sonoran Vista should be approved.
NOW, Tt-[EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona, that the Final Plat for Sonoran Moon, submitted by MMLA, Inc., for a 37-1ot
subdivision 16~ated WifI52in- th-~ boundary 0f the Continental Ranch SPecific Plan, on the
southwest comer of Twin Peaks Road and Coachline B0ulevard, in a portion of Section 21,
Township 12 South, Range 12 East, is hereby approved.
