HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2001-003 final plat for canyon pass phase IVMARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2001-03 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA, APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR CANYON PASS PHASE iV, SUBMITTED BY COTTONWOOD PROPERTIES, FOR A 46-LOT SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED HOME SUBDiVISION ON 98.15 ACRES LOCATED IN THE DOVE MOUNTAIN SPECIFIC PLAN AREA EAST OF DOVE MOUNTAIN BOULEVARD, IN A PORTION OF SECTION 24, TOWNSHIP 11 SOUTH, RANGE 12 EAST. WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council approved the RedHawk Specific Plan for the area now known as Dove Mountain pursuant to Ordinance 89.22 on May 31, 1989; and WHEREAS, Cottonwood Properties is the owner of approximately 98.15 acres located east of Dove Mountain Boulevard, adjacent to Canyon Pass subdivision, in a portion of Section 24, Township 11 South, Range 12 East, and has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of a Final Plat for that property which consists of a 46-1ot single family detached home subdivision, including lots 182 through 227 and Common Area "A" (private streets); and WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council has heard from the representative(s) of the owners, staff, and members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting held January 9, 2001, and has determined that the final plat for Canyon Pass Phase IV should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, that Canyon Pass Phase IV Final Plat, submitted by Cottonwood Properties for a 46-1ot single family detached home subdivision on 98.15 acres located east of Dove Mountain Boulevard, in a portion of Section 24, Township 11 South, Range 12 East, is hereby approved.
