A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA,
ARIZONA, APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR THE BLUFFS 1I ~ DOVE MOUNTAIN,
SUBMITTED BY COTTONWOOD PROPERTIES, FOR A 125-LOT SINGLE FAMILY
DETACHED HOME SUBDWISION ON 52.052 ACKES LOCATED IN THE DOVE
MOUNTAIN SPECIFIC PLAN AREA EAST OF DOVE MOUNTAIN BOULEVARD, IN A
PORTION OF SECTION 25, TOWNSH~ 11 SOUTH, RANGE 12 EAST.
Wi-IEREAS, the Marana Town Council approved the RedHawk Specific Plan for the area
now known as Dove Mountain pursuant to Ordinance 89.22 on May 31, 1989; and
WHEREAS, Cottonwood Properties is the owner of approximately 52.052 acres located
east of Dove Mountain Boulevard, adjacent to The Bluffs subdivision, in a portion of Section 25,
Township 11 South, Range 12 East, and has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of a
Final Plat for that property which consists of a 125-1ot single family detached home subdivision,
including lots 123 through 247 and Common Area "A" (open space); and
WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council has heard from the representative(s) of the
owners, staff, and members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting held March 20,
2001, and has determined that the final plat for The Bluffs II should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona, that The Bluffs 11 Final Plat, submitted by Cottonwood Properties for a 125-1ot
single family detached home subdivision on 52.052 acres located east of Dove Mountain
Boulevard, in a portion of Section 25, Township 11 South, Range 12 East, is hereby approved.
