HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2001-047 lot split for blocks 7 and 8 of the ina road model home center MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2001-47 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL (WITH CONDITION) OF A LOT SPLIT FOR BLOCKS 7 AND 8 OF THE INA ROAD MODEL HOME CENTER. WHEREAS, the Town of Marana approved the fmal plat for the Ina Road Model Home Center, Blocks 1-9 on January 5, 1999 and recorded at the Pima County Recorder's Office in Book 51 of Maps and Plats, Page 85; and WHEREAS, the owner, Ina Road Model Home Center, L.L.C., through Rick Engineering Company has requested the Town to approve the split of Blocks 7 and 8, Ina Road Model Home Center into three lots each due to the interest in the relatively smaller blocks that comprise the balance of the subdivision; and WHEREAS, the Town staffhas reviewed the request and has determined that this lot split and the proposed lots meet the zoning requirements for the Zone E (Transportation Corridor Zone) and will not result in any adverse impacts to the adjoining Blocks within the subdivision; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council finds that the granting of this lot split will benefit the Town and may facilitate the development of business and industry within the community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona that Blocks 7 and 8, Ina Road Model Home Center may each be divided into three lots, as requested by the applicant, in general conformity with the Proposed Lot Configuration exhibit attached and subject to the following condition: 1. The access drive to the proposed lots shall be designed and constructed to public industrial roadway standards.
