A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
MARANA, ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING THE TOWN CLERK TO SUBMIT
APPROVED APPLICATIONS FOR EXTENSION OF PREMISES LIQUOR
LICENSES AND/OR SPECIAL EVENT LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATIONS TO
THE STATE LIQUOR BOARD
WHEREAS, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 4-201, the Town Council of the
Town of Marana is empowered to recommend approval or disapproval of a
liquor license request to the Arizona Depai tuient of Liquor Licenses and Control;
and
WHEREAS, periodically, an established business with a liquor license or
an organization has requested approval of a temporary or one-day permit for a
special event; and
WHEREAS, obtaining the necessary approvals for an event for the date of
the event may not coincide with a scheduled council meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Town of Marana, Arizona, that the Town Council authorizes the Town Clerk to
transmit recommendations for an Extension of Premises or a Special Event
Liquor License to the State Liquor Board upon the review and approval of the
application by the Town Manager.
