A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA,
ARIZONA APPROVING THE GLADDEN FARMS PRELIMINARY BLOCK PLAT
CONSISTING OF 25 BLOCKSON A 714-ACRE SITE LOCATED NORTH OF TANGERINE
ROAD, WEST OF POSTVALE ROAD AND SOUTH OF MOORE ROAD, IN PORTIONS OF
SECTIONS 33 AND 34, TOWNSHIP 11 SOUTH, RANGE 11 EAST.
WHEREAS, the Town of Marana approved and adopted the rezoning on the subject
property in November 2000 (Ordinance 2000.09); and
WHEREAS, Gladden Farms L.L.C. is the owner of the property located South of Moore
Road, west of Postvale and north of Tangerine Road within portions of Section 33 and 34, of
Township 11 south, Range 11 east and has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of a
Preliminary Block Plat for 25 Blocks on approximately 714 acres; and
WHEREAS, the Preliminary Block Plat was presented to the Marana Planning
Commission on April 25, 2001 and the Planning Commission recommended 7-0 that the Town
Council approve the Preliminary Block Plat; and
WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council has heard fi.om the representative(s) of the
owners, staff; and members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting May 22, 2001 and
has determined that the Preliminary Block Plat for Gladden Farms should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council oftbe Town of
Marana, Arizona, that the Gladden Farms Preliminary Block Plat, submitted by The WLB Group
for 25 Blocks located south of Moore Road, west of Postvale and north of Tangerine in portions
of Sections 33 and 34, Township 1 t south, Range 11 east is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the To}gin of. Marana, Arizona,
this 22nd Day of May 2001.
