A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA,
ARIZONA AUTHORIZING THE AMENDMENT OF RESOLUTION NO. 2001-50
RELATING TO APPROVAL OF SPECIAL EVENT LIQUOR LICENSES FOR EVENTS
HELD ON TOWN PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, on May 22, 2001, the Council approved Resolution No. 2001-50,
authorizing the Town Clerk to submit approved Applications for Extension of Premises Liquor
Licenses and/or Special Evem Liquor License Applications to the State Liquor Board; and
WHEREAS, the Council feels it is in the best interests of the residents of Marana to
amend that resolution relating to approval of Special Event Liquor Licenses for events held on
Town property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona that Resolution No. 2001-50 be amended relating to Applications for Special
Event Liquor Licenses. Council approval is required, for Applications for events scheduled to be
held on Town property, at a regular or special meeting of the Council prior to the Town Clerk
submitting the Application to the State Liquor Board.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona,
this 16th day of October, 2001.
