HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2000-009 lot split for lot 293 of cortaro ranchMARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2000-09 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA, AIJTHO~Z~G THE APPROVAL (WITH CONDITION) OF A LOT SPLIT FOR LOT 293 OF THE CORTARO RANCH SUBDIVISION. WHEREAS, the Town of Marana has approved the final plat for Cortaro Ranch, Lots 1-297 and Common Area, and is recorded at the Pima County Recorder's Office in Book 51 of Maps and Plats, Page 6; and WHEREAS, the owner through the applicant, David Evans and Associates, Inc., has requested the Town approve the split of lot 293 in Cortaro Ranch to allow the development of a proposed commercial development; and WHEREAS, the Town's inhouse staffhas reviewed access for the proposed development, which will be entirely contained within the lot by utilizing a proposed 30 foot Ingress/Egress easement and a 24 foot Parking Area Access Lane (PAAL) easement as depicted on Figure 1 attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council find that granting the proposed lot split will benefit the Town and its residents. NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana as follows: le Lot 293 may be divided in order to create Parcel 1, as requested by the applicant, and described in Figure 1.
