OF PAGES: 2 SEQUENCE: 20001750439 09/08/2000 RES 16:37 M~IL AMOUNT PAID $ 8.00 MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2000-100 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA, APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT FOR THE VILLAGES PHASE III, SUBMITTED BY COTTONWOOD PROPERTIES, FOR A 139-LOT SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED HOME SUBDIVISION ON 29.08 ACRES LOCATED IN THE DOVE MOUNTAIN SPECIFIC PLAN AREA WEST OF DOVE MOUNTAIN BOULEVARD, SOUTH OF MOORE ROAD IN A PORTION OF SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 11 SOUTH, RANGE 12 EAST. WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council approved the RedHawk Specific Plan for the area now known as Dove Mountain pursuant to Ordinance 89.22 on May 31, 1989; and WHEREAS, Cottonwood Properties is the owner of approximately 29.08 acres located west of Dove Mountain Boulevard, south of Moore Road adjacent to The Villages Phase II subdivision in a portion of Section 35, Township 11 South, Range 12 East, and has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of a Final Plat for that property which consists of a 139-1ot single family detached home subdivision, including lots 235 through 373 and Common Area "A" (drainages); and WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council has heard from the representative(s) of the owners, staff, and members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting held September 5, 2000, and has determined that the final plat for The Villages Phase ffI should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, that The Villages Phase ffI Final Plat, submitted by Cottonwood Properties for a 139-1ot single family detached home subdivision on 29.08 acres located west of Dove Mountain Boulevard, south of Moore Road in a portion of Section 35, Township 11 South, Range 12 East, is hereby approved subject to the following condition: 1. Written verification be received from the US Fish and Wildlife Service stating that they have no objection to this project prior to the issuance of grading permits.
