HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2000-105 final plat for desert traditions IMARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2000-105 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA APPROVING THE DESERT TRADITIONS I FINAL PLAT SUBMITTED BY PULTE HOMES CONSISTING OF A 48-LOT SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED HOME SUBDIVISION ON 14.82 ACRES LOCATED WITHIN CONTINENTAL RANCH ON PARCEL 24A SOUTH OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF TWIN PEAKS ROAD AND COACHLINE BOULEVARD RANGE 12 EAST. IN A PORTION OF SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 12 SOUTH, WHEREAS, the Town of Marana approved and adopted the specific plan for the area known as Continental Ranch on April 5, 1988 (Ordinance 88.09), located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Marana, Arizona; and WHEREAS, Pulte Homes is the owner of the property located south of the southwest comer of Twin Peaks Road and Coachline Boulevard, more particularly within a portion of Section 21, Township 12 South, Range 12 East known as Parcel 24A of the Continental Ranch Specific Plan and has applied to the Town of Marana for approval ora final plat for 48 single family detached home lots on 14.82 acres, including lots 1-48 and common areas "A" through "H"; and and WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council approved the preliminary plat on July 18, 2000; WHEREAS, the final plat was presented to the Marana Planning Commission on August 30, 2000, and the Planning Commission recommended 7-0 that the Town Council approve the final plat; and WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council has heard fi.om the representative(s) of the owner, staff, and members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting held September 19, 2000, and has determined that the Desert Traditions I final plat submitted by Pulte Homes should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona authorizing that the final plat for 48 single family detached home lots on 14.82 acres of property known as Continental Ranch Parcel 24A located within a portion of Section 21, Township 12 South, Range 12 East be approved: Marana Resolution No. 2000-105 Page 1 of 2 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, this 19th day of September, 2000.
