OF PAGES: 2 SEQUENCE: 20002180572 11/09/2000 P~S 16:08 M~ZL AMOUNT PAID $ 8.00 MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2000-123 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT SUBMITTED BY DEL WEBB'S HOME CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR CONTINENTAL RANCH PARCEL 30 AND PORTIONS OF PARCELS 35 AND 31, SUNFLOWER PHASE VII, WHICH IS A 115-LOT SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED HOME SUBDIVISION ON 24.69 ACRES LOCATED NORTHEAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF TWIN PEAKS ROAD AND SILVERBELL ROAD IN A PORTION OF SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 12 SOUTH, RANGE 12 EAST. WHEREAS, the Town of Marana approved and adopted the specific plan for the area known as Continental Ranch on April 5, 1988 (Ordinance 88.09), located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Marana, Arizona; and WHEREAS, Del Webb's Home Construction, Inc. is the owner of the property located northeast of the intersection of Twin Peaks Road and Silverbell Road, more particularly within a portion of Section 21, Township 12 South, Range 12 East known as Parcel 30 and portions of Parcels 35 and 31, of the Continental Ranch Specific Plan and has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of a final plat for 115 single family detached home lots on 24.69 acres which represents the seventh phase of a 844-1ot single family subdivision, including lots 730-844 and common areas "BB-BB" through "MM-MM"; and WHEREAS, the final plat was presented to the Marana Planning Commission on October 11, 2000, and the Planning Commission recommended 5-0 that the Town Council approve the final plat; and WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council has heard from the representative(s) of the owner, staff, and members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting held November 7, 2000, and has determined that the Sunflower Phase VII final plat submitted by Del Webb's Home Construction, Inc. should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona authorizing that the preliminary plat for 115 single family detached home lots on 24.69 acres of property known as Continental Ranch Parcel 30 and portions of Parcels 35 and 31, located within a portion of Section 21, Township 12 South, Range 12 East be approved. 4 1 ? 8 1 Marana Resolution No. 2000-84 Page 1 of 2 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, this 7th day of November, 2000.
