HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 99-047 final plat la mirage estatesMARANA RESOLUTION NO. 99-47 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA, APPROVING LA MIRAGE ESTATES FINAL PLAT SUBMITTED BY ICON CONSULTANTS USA, INC., ON BEHALF OF DOERKEN PROPERTIES FOR A 507 LOT SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED HOME SUBDIVISION WITH A 9-HOLE EXECUTIVE GOLF COURSE ON 138.27 ACRES IN A PORTION OF THE NORTH 1/2 OF SECTION 26, TOWNSHIP 11 SOUTH, RANGE 11 EAST, WITHIN THE RANCHO MARANA SPECIFIC PLAN AREA. WHEREAS, the Town of Marana has previously approved the specific plan for the area known as Rancho Marana, located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Marana, Arizona; and WHEREAS, ICON Consultants USA, Inc., on behalf of the owner, Doerken Properties, has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of the La Mirage Estates final plat for 507 single family detached home lots on 138.27 acres of property located within a portion of the North 1/2 of Section 26, Township 11 South, Range 11 East; and WHEREAS, on March 31, 1999, the Planning and Zoning Commission approved the Final Plat for La Mirage Estates subj.ect to the inclusion of a mitigation plan for cultural resources acceptable to the Arizona State Museum in a development agreement between the Town of Marana and ICON Consultants USA, Inc.; and WHEREAS, on March 31, 1999, the Marana Planning and Zoning Commission approved the Final Plat for La Mirage Estates, subject to the inclusion of a mitigation plan for cultural resources acceptable to the Arizona State Museum in a development agreement between the Town of Marana and ICON Consultants USA, Inc.; and WHEREAS, the preliminary plat for La Mirage Estates was approved by the Town Council on February 17, 1998; and WHEREAS, the final plat for La Mirage Estates is in substantial conformity with the approved preliminary plat; and Page 1 of 2 Mararia Resolution No. 99-47 WHEREAS, the Mararia Town Council has heard from the representative(s) of the owner, staff, and members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting held May 18, 1999, and has determined that the La Mirage Estates final plat submitted by ICON Consultants USA, Inc. should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, that the final plat for 507 single family detached home lots with a 9-hole golf course on 138.27 acres of property located within a portion of the North 1/2 of Section 26, Township 11 South, Range 11 East, be approved. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, this 18th day of May, 1999.
