HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 99-090 final plat for parcels 36, 38 & 40 of sunflower phase IIIMARANA RESOLUTION NO. 99-90 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARAN& ARIZONA, APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT SUBMITTED BY PULTE HOME CORPORATION FOR THE RESUBDMSION OF CONTINENTAL RANCH PARCELS 36- 38 AND 40 PHASE ]II, WHICH IS A 107-LOT SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED HOME SUBDMSION ON 34.45 ACRES LOCATED NORTHEAST OF THE INTERSECTION OF TWIN PEAKS ROAD AND COACHLINE BOULEVARD AND MORE SPECIFICALLY IN A PORTION OF THE SOUTH 1/2 OF SECTION 16 AND THE NORTH ~ OF SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 12 SOUTH, RANGE 12 EAST. WHEREAS, the Town of Marana has previously approved the specific plan for the area known as Continental Ranch, located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Marana, Arizona; and WHEREAS, Pulte Home Corporation is the owner of the property located northeast of the intersection of Twin Peaks Road and Coachline Boulevard, more particularly within a portion of the South 1A of Section 16 and the North 1/2 of Section 21, Township 12 South, Range 12 East known as Parcels 36-38 and 40 of the Continental Ranch Specific Plan and has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of a final plat for 107 single family detached home lots on 34.45 acres which represents the third phase of a 315 lot single family subdivision, including lots 209 through 315, as well as lots 116a, 117a, and 118a, and Common Areas M through R; and WHEREAS, the final plat was presented to the Marana Planning Commission on March 31, 1999, and the Planning Commission recommended 4-0 that the Town Council approve the final plat with conditions; and WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council has heard fi:om the representative(s) of the owner, staff, and members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting held June 1, 1999, and has determined that the Resubdivision of Continental Ranch Parcels 36-38 and 40 Phase III final plat submitted by Pulte Home Corporation should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, that the final plat for 107 single family detached home lots on 34.45 acres of property located within a portion the South 1/2 of Section 16 and the North 1/2 of Section 21, Township 12 South, Range 12 East, be approved.
