HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 99-094 preliminary plat for sunset acresMARANA RESOLUTION NO. 99-94 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA, APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR SUNSET ACRES, SUBMITTED BY BBPP PROFIT SHARING PLAN & TRUST AND AK PROFIT SHARING PLAN & TRUST, FOR A 42-LOT SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED HOME SUBDMSION LOCATED NORTH OF SUNSET ROAD AND WEST OF SILVERBELL ROAD IN A PORTION OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 13 SOUTH, RANGE 13 EAST, PARCEL NUMBER 101-06-007C4. WHEREAS, BBPP Profit Sharing Plan & Trust and AK Profit Sharing Plan & Trust are the owner of approximately 56.18 acres located north of Sunset Road and west of Silverbell Road in a portion of the southwest quarter of Section 7, Township 13 South, Range 13 East, and has filed a preliminary plat for that property which consists of a 42-1ot single family detached home subdivision; and WHEREAS, the preliminary plat was presented to the Mararia Planning Commission on August 4, 1999, and the Planning Commission recommended unanimously that the Town Council approve the preliminary plat; and WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council has heard from the representative(s) of the owner, staff, and members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting held August 17, 1999, and has determined that the preliminary plat for Sunset Acres should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, that the Hartman 10 preliminary plat, submitted by BBPP Profit Sharing Plan & Trust and AK Profit Sharing Plan & Trust for a 42-1ot single family detached home subdivision to be located north of Sunset Road and west of Silverbell Road in a portion of Section 7, Township 13 South, Range 13 East is hereby approved.
