A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING DEVELOPMENT OF THE FINAL PLAT SUBMITTED BY
DEL WEBB'S COVENTRY HOMES CONSTRUCTION OF TUCSON FOR CONTINENTAL
RANCH PARCELS 36 THROUGH 38 AND PARCEL 40, PHASE II, WHICH IS A 111 LOT
SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED HOME SUBDIVISION ON 21.95 ACRES, LOCATED NORTH
OF THE INTERSECTION OF TWIN PEAKS ROAD AND COACHLINE BOULEVARD AND,
MORE SPECIFICALLY, IN A PORTION OF THE SOUTH HALF OF SECTION 16 AND THE
NORTH HALF OF SECTION 21, TOWNSHIP 12 SOUTH, RANGE 12 EAST.
WHEREAS, the Town of Marana has previously approved the specific plan for the area
known as Continental Ranch, located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Marana,
Arizona; and
WHEREAS, Del Webb's Coventry Homes Construction of Tucson is the owner of the
property located approximately 1/4 mile north of the intersection of Coachline Boulevard and Twin
Peaks Road and more particularly within a portion of the south half of Section 16 and the north half
of Section 21, Township 12 South, Range 12 East, and has applied to the Town of Marana for
approval ora final plat for 1 l 1 single family detached home lots on 21.95 acres which represents the
second phase ora 289 lot single family subdivision, per the approved preliminary plat also including
lots 98 through 208 and Common Areas F through L; and
WHEREAS, the final plat was presented to the Marana Planning Commission on March 25,
1998, and the Planning Commission recommended 6-0 that the Town Council approve the
preliminary plat; and
WHEREAS, the Marana Town Council heard from the representative of the owner, staff, and
members of the public at the regular Town Council meeting held May 5, 1998, and has determined
that the final plat map submitted by Del Webb's Coventry Homes of Tucson should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona, that the final plat submitted by Del Webb's Coventry Homes Construction of
Tucson for Continental Ranch Parcels 36 through 38 and Parcel 40, Phase II, which is a 111 lot
single family detached home subdivision on 21.95 acres be approved.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, this
5th day of May, 1998.
