HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 97-050 adopting the FY 1997-1998 budgetMARANA RESOLUTION NO. 97-50 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA, ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF MARANA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1997-98. WHEREAS, on June 10, 1997, in accordance with the provisions of A.R.S. §42-301 et seq., the Mararia Town Council did make an estimate of the different amounts required to meet the public expenditures/expenses for the 1997-98 fiscal year and did estimate the revenues to be received from sources other than direct taxation; and WHEREAS, the Mararia Town Council held a public meeting on June 17, 1997 foliowing due public notice where taxpayers that appeared were heard in favor of or against any of the proposed expenditores/expenses of tax levies; and WHEREAS, the sums to be raised by taxation as specified in the budget attached hereto as Exhibit A, as amended, do not, in the aggregate amount, exceed the expenditure limitation set by the Council on June 10, 1997. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Mararia, Arizona, that the tentative budget setting forth the estimates of revenues and expenditures/expenses, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference, as increased, decreased or changed by the Town Council, is hereby adopted as the final budget for the Town of Marana for the fiscal year 1997-98.
