HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 97-002 preliminary plat for the links at continental ranchMARANA RESOLUTION NO. 97-02 A RESOLUTION OF THE IVlAYOR AND COUNCIl, OF THE TOWN OF MARANA~ ARIZONA, APPROVING THE LINKS AT CONTINENTAL RANCH PRELIMINARY PLAT SUBMITTED BY SOUTHWEST VALUE PARTNERS IV, L.P., FOR A GOLF COURSE LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF CORTARO ROAD AND INTERSTATE-10 AND WITHIN A PORTION OF SECTIONS 22, 26 AND 27, T12S, R12E. WHEREAS, the Town of Marana has previously approved the sp~ecific plan for the area known as Continental Ranch, located within the corporate boundaries of the Town of Marana, Arizona; and WHEREAS, Southwest Value Partners IV, L.P.,. is the owner of property located at the northwest comer of Cortaro Road and Interstate-10 and xanthin a portion of Sections 22, 26 and 27, T12S, R12E, and has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of a preliminary plat for a golf course; and WHEREAS the preliminaryplat was presented to the Marana Planning Commission on November 20, 1996, and the P arming Commission recommended 5-0 that the Town Council approve the preliminary plat; and WHEREAS~ the Marana Town Council heard from the representative of the owner, staff, and members of the publ,c at the reg91ar Town Council meeting held January 7, 1997, and has determined that the preliminary plat map submitted by Southwest Value Partners'IV, L.P., should be approved, with conditions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana that the pre mna at map sub ntted by Southwest Value Partners IV L P, fbr a ~o f course ocated at the northwest corner of Cortaro Road and Interstate-10 and w~thm a port,on of Sections 22, 26 and 27, T12S, R12E, be approved subject to the following conditions: 1. The developer shall. meet all of the Town Engineer's concerns regarding the abandonment of utility easements. 2. The developer shall submit a r. evised plat resolving any outstanding comments and concerns received by omer agencies prior to the processing of the final plat for this project. 3. The final plat approval for this project shall be contingent upon the recordation of the final l~lat for Parcel 64, Continental RanchBusiness Park, Case Number PRV-9627. ! ATTEST!
