RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL PLAT
FOR THE SAFEWAY STORE #1749 LOTS 7-9, A RESUBDIVISION OF LOT 7
WHEREAS, the Town of Marana approved and adopted the specific plan for the area
known as Continental Ranch on April 5, 2008 (Ordinance No. 88.09), located within the
corporate boundaries of the Town of Marana, Arizona; and
WHEREAS, a final plat for Safeway Store #1749 Lots 1-6 was approved on May 20,
2003 (Resolution No. 2003-45); and
WHEREAS, a final plat for Safeway Store #1749 Lots 6-7, the resubdivision of Lot 6
was approved on July 6.2008 (Resolution No. 2004-90); and
WHEREAS, Safeway, Inc is the owner of approximately 5.69 acres within the Safeway
# 1749 subdivision boundary has applied to the Town of Marana for approval of a final plat for
Safeway Store #1749, Lots 7-9, a resubdivision of Lot 7, generally located at the southeast
corner of Silverbell and Twin Peaks Roads in Section 20, Township 12 South, Range 12 East,
and; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have considered the application at the regular Town
Council meeting held November 5, 2008 and has determined that the final plat for the Safeway
Store # 1749 Lots 7-9 meets all applicable requirements and should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana, Arizona, that the Final Plat for Safeway Store #1749 Lots 7-9, a resubdivision of Lot 7,
located at the southeast corner of Silverbell and Twin Peaks Roads, is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of arana, Arizona,
this 5~' day of November, 2008.
