WHEREAS, the Town of Maran a desires to proceed with the proposed Honea Heights Pavement Rehabilitation Improvements, Project No. 2003-14; and WHEREAS, the improvements will require designating a 30-foot portion of the Marana Santa Cruz Linear Park property to provide right-of-way for this project; and WHEREAS, the Town can acquire this right-of-way by designating a strip of Maran a Santa Cruz River Linear Park property for the southerly 30 feet of Sandy Street from just east of Honea Drive to Steel Drive, more particularly described and identified on the attached legal descriptions and location maps Exhibits A, A-I, B and B-1. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, that a 30-foot strip of Maran a Santa Cruz River Linear Park property shall be designated as a public road right-of-way for the south half of Sandy Street pavement rehabilitation improvements as described in Exhibits A, A-I, B and B-1.
