RELATING TO REAL ESTATE; ESTABLISHING A POLICY TO ACCOMMODATE TOWN
SUPERVISORY CONTROL AND DATA ACQUISITION (SCADA) ANTENNAS AT NO
COST ON ALL COMMUNICATION TOWERS ERECTED ON PROPERTY LEASED FROM
THE TOWN
WHEREAS the Mayor and Council find that accommodating Town Supervisory Control
and Data Acquisition (SCADA) antennas at no cost on communication towers erected on
property leased from the Town is in the best interest of the Town and its citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF MARANA, ARIZONA, that all future communication tower site leases of Town
property shall include a provision requiring the lessee to accommodate SCADA antennas at no
cost to the Town.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town's Manager and staff are hereby directed and
authorized to carry out the intent and objectives of this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE .TOWN OF
MARANA, ARIZONA, this 16th day of December, 2008. ,
