Approval of Minutes "to indicate the voting results approve the minutes of April 22, 1993 the motion carried Doug Mostyn abstaining. Dave Baker, Planning Volunteer, addressed the Council explaining the changes and additions to litle 10. Bob McCrea, 13950 W. Grief Rd., Marana Asked if this was related to the Annexation Area. Liq~.i~ NqD Hazardous Waste Ponds ~ Pima County Representa- tive. The representative for Pima County Liquid Non-Hazardous Waste Ponds was not in attendance. A motion was made by Bill Schisler, seconded by Eddie Honea and carried unanimously to direct staff to draft a letter to Chris Leverenz of Pima County, requesting that this situation be resolved and that the Town be kept informed of any changes at the Tangerine Landfill. Larry Stewart, Chairman of the Avra Valley Fire District stated that Avra Valley Fire District would be willing to use the Marana Fire equipment in the Town of Marana but the Town would need to provide insurance liability and any major maintenance on the equipment. Producers Cotton L Lucke.~t Road Requested Zoning ~bange: t__o A__G L Proposed D~velop.ment: Agricultural A motion was made by 8ill Schisler, seconded by Eddie Honea and carried unanimously to approve Producer's Cotton RezoninQ request from A to AG - Proposed Development for Agricultural Uses. ~ Amending Title 10 ~f the Town Of Marana Development Code by_ Changing Title 10 from "Amendments ~ t~o "Procedures", and by addin~ & new ~ection 10.10 ~Dkitled "Conditional O~e Permits" A motion was made by Eddie Honea, seconded by Bill Schisler and carried unanimously to approve amending Title 10 of the Town of Marana Development Code by changing Title 10 from "Amendments" to "Procedures", and by adding a new Section 10.10 entitled "Condi- tional Use Permits". A motion was made by Eddie Honea, seconded by Bill $chisler and carried unanimously to approve the hiring of a full-time Planning Administrator and an additional Building Inspector and approve the extension of a one year contract with the current Town Engi- neer. Recre~.tion ~nter A motion was made by Bill $chisler, seconded by Helen Key and carried unanimously to approve Resolution 93-25 Establishing a Schedule of User and Related Requirements For Marana Park and Recreation Center. ~ Resolution No. 95-24 Approving the Official Canvass O~f Voting Results FQ~ the May ~S, 1993 General Election A motion was made by Eddie Honea, seconded by Betty Horrigan and carried unanimously to approve Resolution 93-24 declaring and adopting the voter results of the May 18, 1993 Town of Marana General Election. 3. Burn Permits L U_pdate L Alternatives Doug Mostyn addressed the Council stating that Pima County Air Quality will only issue burn permits for burning Tumbleweeds and were not interested in the Town of Marana issuing permits for them. ~. Mayor's Report Mayor Ham gave a verbal report. ~ Town Manager's Report A copy of the written report is on file. XII. FUTURE ~GEND~ ITEMS 1. Irrigation ditch along side the Marana Park and Barnett Rd. EH 2. Access to the Adonis/Amole area when the railroad crossing is closed or blocked. EH 3. Management Training Facility - presentation at the next meeting. EH 4. WITH TOWN ATTORNE.Y REGARDING ANNEXATION A motion was made by Bill Schisler, seconded by Eddie Honea and carried unanimously to go into Executive Session for discussion with Town Attorney regarding the annexation. Time 9:20 P.M. XIV. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Bill Schisler, seconded by Doug Mostyn carried unanimously to adjourn.
