Nortbwest Water Alliance ::. 2re~ent_atior; ?na DIScussion Michael McNulty of Brown and Bain and Alex Jacome of Metro Water District both representing the ~orthwest Water AllIance. ad- dressed the Council expressing the groupS concern on the controL that the City of Tucson has on the growth of Plma County and surrounaing communities. They further stated that Pima County Board of Supervisors Ed Moore has organized a group of water utilities on the Northwest side of Tucson to try to Implemer;t some cooperative water management for assured water SUpp~y- Those Invited to work on thIS are the Town ot Marana, Town OT Ora Valley, New Metropolitan Domestic Improvement DIstr~ct. Cortaro/Marana Irrigation District. FlowIng Wells IrrigaLion District. Canada Hills Water Company, Lago Del Oro Water Compa- ny, Goodman Water Co., Del Webb Corporation, RanChO Vistoso Water Co., plus other small utilities. A memorandum of 0nderstanding has been presented to the Town of Marana~s Attorney. Ed Moore, Chairman of the Pima County Board of Supervisors also expressed his concerns.
