Road does not assign any preferential treatment to the Tapestry project Dove Mountain Extension • Runs from the intersection of Dove Mountain Boulevard and Tangerine to the Twin Peaks Interchange • Already bears multiple names - Some right of way acquired as "Tortolita Road" by the Hartman Hills rezone - Overlaps a segment of Camino de Manana - Interchange signed as Twin Peaks • Current plans call for the road to be named Dove Mountain Boulevard in the new section and retain the name of Camino de Manana in the area currently occupied by Camino de Manana • Road travels in and out of Manana jurisdiction, any renaming would require coordination with Pima County Addressing - Dove Mountain Blvd is a north/south road - Camino de Manana is an east/west road Dove Mountain Extension • Staff Recommends setting the name to "Dove Mountain Boulevard" from Tangerine to the intersection with Linda Vista Boulevard - Removes driver confusion by not having the road change names - Directs traffic to the landmark Dove Mountain area - Preserves interstate naming convention preferences of a single name interchange -Twin Peaks - Remaining segment of Camino de Manana east of the Dove Mountain Boulevard would see no name change - 33 residences currently addressed off of Camino de Manana west of Dove Mountain Boulevard would need to be changed, some of which may have an opportunity to name. a roadway easement and not necessarily be named off of Dove Mountain Boulevard
