HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 2006-079 preliminary plat for saguaro ranch phase II MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2006-79 RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR SAGUARO RANCH PHASE II. WHEREAS, Saguaro Ranch Development Corporation, the owner of Saguaro Ranch Phase II, and Paul and Kathryn Ranheim, the owners of lot 51, have applied for approval of a preliminary plat for 14 single-family custom homes and proposed guest ranch site on 128.98 acres, including lots 50, 51, 53 through 65, Parcel A and Common Areas "A" (private streets) and "B" (private ingress/egress and public utility), and is generally located 1 mile north of Moore Road and east ofthe Thomydale Road alignment, in a portion of Section 20, Township 11 South, Range 13 East; and WHEREAS, the Town Council approved the Saguaro Ranch Final Plat on September 2, 2003, consisting of Lots 9-52, Blocks I through 4 and Common Areas "A" and "B"; and WHEREAS, the Saguaro Ranch Phase II Preliminary Plat is a partial resubdivision of the original Saguaro Ranch Final Plat; and WHEREAS, the Town Council, at their regular meeting on June 6, 2006, has determined that the Saguaro Ranch Phase II preliminary plat should be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona, that Saguaro Ranch Phase II Preliminary Plat, consisting of lots 50, 51, 53 through 65, Parcel A and Common Areas "A" (private streets) and "B" (private ingress/egress and public utility) within the Saguaro Ranch Development and generally located 1 mile north of Moore Road and east of the Thomydale Road alignment, in a portion of Section 20, Township 11 South, Range 13 East is hereby approved.
