SUBJECT: Resolution No. 2006-07: Relating to Development;
approving and authorizing the release of assurances for Harvest
Moon and acceptance of public improvements for maintenance.
DISCUSSION
Approval of this resolution will release the Assurance Agreement between u.s. Home
Corporation, a Delaware corporation, under Trust No. 60,082, and Fidelity National Title
Agency, Inc., an Arizona corporation, and the Town of Marana, regarding Harvest Moon as
depicted on Exhibit A. Harvest Moon is comprised of Lots 1-129 and Common Areas 'A' and
'B'. The subdivision is recorded in Book 58 of Maps and Plats, Page 24, Pima County
Recorder's Office, Arizona.
In releasing said Assurance Agreement, the Town of Marana will accept for maintenance,
including regulatory traffic control signs and street signs, approximately 0.93 miles of the
following paved streets:
Burning Sage Street
Cotton Bale Lane
Fallen Fence Lane
Farm Village Drive
Rodeo Land A venue

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Mayor and Council release the Assurances for Harvest Moon and accept the
public improvements for maintenance.

MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2006-07
RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF
ASSURANCES FOR HARVEST MOON AND ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS FOR MAINTENANCE.
WHEREAS, Harvest Moon is a 25.73-acre subdivision located west of Lon Adams Road
and north of Gladden Farms Drive, containing Lots 1-129, Common Areas A and B, and is
recorded in the Pima County Recorder's Office at Book 58 of Maps and Plats, Page 24; and
WHEREAS, the Town has previously entered into an Assurance Agreement with U.S.
Home Corporation, a Delaware corporation, (beneficiary) under Trust No. 60,082 (subdivider)
and Fidelity National Title Agency, Inc., an Arizona corporation, (trustee), recorded in the Pima
County Recorder's Office at Docket 12278, Page 3184, assuring the completion of public
improvements; and
WHEREAS, U.S. Homes Corporation has completed the public improvements acceptable
to Town standards in accordance with the Assurance Agreement for Harvest Moon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana as follows:
Section 1. Harvest Moon is hereby released from the Assurance Agreement with U.S.
Home Corporation under Trust No. 60,082, and Fidelity National Title Agency, Inc.

Section 2. The Town accepts for maintenance, including maintenance of regulatory
traffic control and street signs, 0.93 miles of paved streets for the following appurtenances, as
depicted on Exhibit A:
a. Burning Sage Street
b. Cotton Bale Lane
c. Fallen Fence Lane
d. Farm Village Drive
e. Rodeo Land Avenue
