SUBJECT: Resolution No. 2006-08: Relating to Development; approving
and authorizing the release of assurances for Gladden Farms
Block 11 and acceptance of public improvements for maintenance.
DISCUSSION
Approval of this resolution will release the Assurance Agreement between Pulte Home
Corporation, a Michigan corporation, under Trust No. 9021 and First American Title Insurance
Company, a California corporation, and the Town of Marana regarding Gladden Farms Block 11
as depicted on Exhibit A. Gladden Farms Block 11 is comprised of Lots 1-141 and Common
Areas 'A' through 'N'. The subdivision is recorded in Book 57 of Maps and Plats, Page 75,
Pima County Recorder's Office, Arizona.
In releasing said Assurance Agreement, the Town of Marana will accept for maintenance,
including regulatory traffic control signs and street signs, approximately 0.87 miles of the
following paved streets:
Combine Drive
Cottonseed Lane
Gin Drive
Harvester Drive
Massey Drive

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Mayor and Council release the Assurances for Gladden Farms Block 11 and
accept the public improvements for maintenance.

MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2006-08
RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF
ASSURANCES FOR GLADDEN FARMS BLOCK 11 AND ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS FOR MAINTENANCE.
WHEREAS, Gladden Farms Block 11 is a 30.121-acre subdivision located west of Lon
Adams Road and south of Gladden Farms Drive, containing Lots 1-141, Common Areas A
through N, and is recorded in the Pima County Recorder's Office at Book 57 of Maps and Plats,
Page 75; and
WHEREAS, the Town has previously entered into an Assurance Agreement with Pulte
Home Corporation, a Michigan corporation, (beneficiary) under Trust No. 9021 (subdivider) and
First American Title Insurance Company, a California corporation, (trustee), recorded in the
Pima County Recorder's Office at Docket 12173, Page 1367, assuring the completion of public
improvements; and
WHEREAS, Pulte Home Corporation has completed the public improvements acceptable
to Town standards in accordance with the Assurance Agreement for Gladden Farms Block 11.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana as follows:
Section 1. Gladden Farms Block 11 is hereby released from the Assurance
Agreement with Pulte Home Corporation under Trust No. 9021, and First American Title
Insurance Company.

Section 2. The Town accepts for maintenance, including maintenance of regulatory
traffic control and street signs, 0.87 miles of paved streets for the following appurtenances, as
depicted on Exhibit A:
a. Combine Drive
b. Cottonseed Lane
c. Gin Drive
d. Harvester Drive
e. Massey Drive
