HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 92.13 Execter 16A annexation13255 N LON ADAMS RD M~RANA AZ 85653 MAIL AMOUNT PAID O1/04/9~ 08: 21: ORDINANCE NO. 92.13 (EXETER 16A) Whereas the owners of at least one half of the assessed value of the real and personal properties in the area described below and more than one half of the real property owners therein have presented a petition to the Town Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona requesting annexation to the Town of Marana; and Whereas said area is contiguous to the Town limits of the Town of Marana; and Whereas the requirements of A.R.S. Section 9-471 et seq. have been met; and Whereas the Town Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona considers it beneficial to the people of the Town of Marana and of the area to be annexed to extend the limits of the Town by such annexation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Marana, Arizona as follows: A part of Section 6, Township 12 South, Range 13 East, Gila and Salt River Meridian, Pima County, Arizona, described as follows: COMMENCING at the Northwest corner of said Section 6; THENCE S 00005· 20" E along the West line of said Section 6 a distance of 50.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING on the South right-of-way line of Tangerine Road; THENCE N 89~ 51' 54" E along the said South right-of-way line a distance of 2,467.00 feet; THENCE N 89° 53'54" E along the said South right-of-way line a distance of 29.41 feet to a line 30.00 feet East of and parallel with the West line of Government Lot 2 of said Section 6 as described in Docket 6242 at Page 614; THENCE S 00° 33' 20" W along the said parallel line a distance of 646.64 feet; THENCE N 89° 54' 22" E 630.00 feet; THENCE S 00° 33' 20" W 370.00 feet to a line 30.00 feet North of and parallel with the South line of said Lot 2 and Government Lot 1 of said Section 6 as described in Docket 6973 at Page 292; THENCE N 89° 54" 22" E along the said parallel line a distance of 1,898.53 feet to the West right-of-way line of Thornydale Road, being 30.00 feet West of the East line of said Section 6; THENCE S 00° 09'05" E along the said West right-of-way line a distance of 581.11 feet to the North line of the Droperty de- scribed in Docket 8493 at Page 1657, Pima County Recorder's Office, pima.
