AGENDA TITLE: Resolution No. 2006-52: Relating to Development; approving and
authorizing a Release of Assurances for Gladden Farms - Block 6,
and acceptance of public improvements for maintenance.
DISCUSSION
This release of the Assurance Agreement between Richmond American Homes of Arizona, Inc.,
a Delaware corporation under Trust No. 60,118 and Fidelity National Title Agency, Inc., an
Arizona corporation, and the Town of Marana, relates to Gladden Farms - Block 6 as depicted
on Exhibit A. Gladden Farms - Block 6 is comprised of lots 1-114 and common areas 'A'
through 'C'.
In releasing said Assurance Agreement, the Town of Marana will accept for maintenance,
including regulatory traffic control signs and street signs, approximately 0.85 miles of the
following paved streets:
. Crooked Willow Drive
· Fallen Willow Drive
. Golden Willow Drive
. Nep Lane
. Prairie Willow Drive
. Sapling Drive
. Willow Field Drive

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Mayor and Council release the Assurances for Gladden Farms - Block 6, and
accept the public improvements for maintenance.

Gladden Farms - Block 6 Full Release
MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2006-52
RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A RELEASE OF
ASSURANCES FOR GLADDEN FARMS - BLOCK 6, AND ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS FOR MAINTENANCE.
WHEREAS, Gladden Farms - Block 6 is a 24.71 acre subdivision located east of Lon
Adams Road and at Gladden Farms Drive, containing lots 1-114, common areas A through C,
and is recorded at the Pima County Recorder's Office in Book 57 of Maps and Plats, Page 96;
and
WHEREAS, the Town has previously entered into an Assurance Agreement with
Richmond American Homes of Arizona, a Delaware corporation (beneficiary) under Trust No.
60,118 (subdivider) and Fidelity National Title Agency, Inc., an Arizona corporation, (trustee),
recorded at the Pima County Recorder's Office at Docket 12247, Page 3343, assuring the
completion of public improvements; and
WHEREAS, Richmond American Homes of Arizona, has completed the public
improvements acceptable to Town standards in accordance with the Assurance Agreement for
Gladden Farms - Block 6; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana as follows:
Section 1. Gladden Farms - Block 6 is hereby released from the Assurance
Agreement with Richmond American Homes of Arizona under Trust No. 60,118 and Fidelity
National Title Agency, Inc.
Section 2. The Town accepts for maintenance, including maintenance of regulatory
traffic control and street signs, 0.85 miles of paved streets for the following appurtenances, as
depicted on Exhibit A:
a. Crooked Willow Drive
b. Fallen Willow Drive
c. Golden Willow Drive
d. N ep Lane
e. Prairie Willow Drive
f. Sapling Drive
g. Willow Field Drive
