AGENDA TITLE: Resolution No. 2006-54: Relating to Development; approving and
authorizing a Release of Assurances for Continental Reserve -
Block 15, and acceptance of public improvements for
maintenance.
DISCUSSION
This release of the Assurance Agreement between GMAC Model Home Finance, Inc., a Virginia
corporation and US Home Corporation, a Delaware corporation under Trust No. 852 and 804 and
Title Security Agency of Arizona, an Arizona corporation, and the Town of Marana, relates to
Continental Reserve - Block 15, as depicted on Exhibit A. Continental Reserve - Block 15
comprises lots 1-66 and common areas 'D' and 'E'.
In releasing said Assurance Agreement, the Town of Marana will accept for maintenance,
including regulatory traffic control signs and street signs, approximately 0.70 miles of the
following paved streets:
. Balcony Bay Drive
. Blue Brick Drive
. Lime Star Drive
. Ruby Chip Drive

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Mayor and Council release the Assurances for Continental Reserve - Block
15 and accept the public improvements for maintenance.

MARANA RESOLUTION NO. 2006-54
RELATING TO DEVELOPMENT; APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING A RELEASE OF
ASSURANCES FOR CONTINENTAL RESERVE - BLOCK 15, AND ACCEPTANCE OF
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR MAINTENANCE.
WHEREAS, Continental Reserve - Block 15 is a 19.80 acre subdivision located east of
Continental Reserve Loop and at Pima Farms Drive, containing lots 1-66, common areas D and
E, and is recorded at the Pima County Recorder's Office in Book 58 of Maps and Plats, Page 71;
and
WHEREAS, the Town has previously entered into an Assurance Agreement with GMAC
Model Home Finance, Inc., a Virginia corporation and US Home Corporation, a Delaware
corporation (beneficiary) under Trust No. 852 and 804 (subdivider) and Title Security Agency of
Arizona, an Arizona corporation, (trustee), recorded at the Pima County Recorder's Office at
Docket 12486, Page 941, assuring the completion of public improvements; and
WHEREAS, Pulte Homes Corporation, has completed the public improvements
acceptable to Town standards in accordance with the Assurance Agreement for Continental
Reserve - Block 15; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Town of
Marana as follows:
Section 1. Continental Reserve - Block 15 is hereby released from the Assurance
Agreement with GMAC Model Home Finance, Inc. and US Home Corporation under Trust No.
852 and 804 and Title Security Agency of Arizona.
Section 2. The Town accepts for maintenance, including maintenance of regulatory
traffic control and street signs, 0.70 miles of paved streets for the following appurtenances, as
depicted on Exhibit A:
a. Balcony Bay Drive
b. Blue Brick Drive
c. Lime Star Drive
d. Ruby Chip Drive
